Service Report

The activity center is currently providing the following services to cater to the diverse needs of disabled individuals and their caregivers:

 

  1. Youth Development (Activities and Services for Physically Disabled Youth)

We offer a variety of activities to disabled youth, providing them opportunities to participate in and organize various types of youth activities to satisfy their social, recreational, and developmental needs.

 

  1. Talent and Creativity (Interest Groups/Activity Classes)

We launch different types of courses in music, art, and sports to encourage disabled individuals to make good use of their leisure time, find personal interests, develop potential, and enhance physical and mental health.

 

  1. Included in Society (Outdoor Activity)

We organize various community activities to enable disabled individuals to overcome physical barriers, step into the community, broaden their horizons and social circles, thereby helping them integrate into the community and promote interpersonal relationships.

 

  1. Professional Counseling (Individual and Group Counseling Services)

Professional social workers provide individual and group counseling services to facilitate clients in coping with issues including personal growth, rehabilitation, emotions, and interpersonal relationships.

 

  1. Family Support (Services for Family Members and Carers of Physically Disabled Persons)

We offer professional counseling, community information, peer groups, and various activities and services for family members and caregivers of physically disabled persons to meet their needs and alleviate caregivers' stress.

 

  1. Advocacy for Inclusion (Community and Public Education)

We conduct public education through workshop, visits, and other activities, allowing the public to connect and interact with disabled individuals deeply, dispelling misunderstandings about disabled persons and promoting community inclusion.

 

  1. Giving Back to Society (Voluntary Work)

We encourage disabled individuals to actively participate in community volunteer work. The center also sets up multiple volunteer groups to serve the needy, both injured and healthy, in society, helping others to make an impact on lives.

 

  1. HKFHY YouTube Channel

Regularly uploading various educational, entertainment, and informational short videos, including those filmed and produced by center members with disabilities.
